Private or amateur war photography consisted of personalphotographs taken by soldiers with their own cameras.This is a copy of a scrapbook put together by Canadiansoldier William van Allen, showing his life during theFirst World War. It includes photographs, telegraphs, andsouvenirs from his time in war.
