Transferability Suffolk County Community
College prepares students for transfer to four-year
colleges and universities. We are proud to say that
our students routinely transition to a variety of
baccalaureate programs at public and private
colleges and universities on Long Island, around
New York State, and throughout the nation.
Articulation agreements or partnerships with four-
year schools for certain programs of study ensure
a continuous pathway and provide a simplified,
guaranteed transfer process for students.
Financial Aid We are committed to providing
our students with assistance to explore all
available funding options. Each year, Suffolk
awards more than $61 million in federal and
state financial aid to more than 17,000
students.
Scholarships Suffolk also offers a broad
range of scholarships for new, continuing and
graduating students. In fact, the Suffolk
Community College Foundation annually awards
more than $600,000 in student scholarships.
