Construction Project Manager
Glenn K Johnson
Menemsha Solutions / J P Morgan Chase From December 2008 through December 2009 I was engaged as a Field Project
Manager with Menemsha Solutions for a rebrand program for J P Morgan Chase whereby over 500 branches in three states would be rebranded from the newly acquired Washington Mutual Bank and brought into the Chase brand. My team was responsible for Florida and Georgia, which consisted of over 230 branches across the two states. Working directly with the client from scope development and budgeting to project closeout. I was personally responsible for 30 branches from Orlando to Tampa all of which finished on time and in budget with minimal punch list.
Apollo Construction & Engineering Services, Inc. From April 2006 through December 2008 I was employed by Apollo Construction &
Engineering as an Project Manager and Estimator. With a very diverse clientele, I was responsible for the contract with Hillsborough County School District (8th largest school district in the nation) to facilitate the repair / replacement of storm water drainage issues. Recognized as one of the districts preferred contractors the district renewed this contract without bid for the maximum allowed three years. Other individual projects with clients both public and private sector have given me a wide breadth of experiences from which to draw.
Experience
Menemsha Development Group January 2003 through April 2006 – Field Project Manager working with
Washington Mutual on the roll out of 270 new banks in the Florida market. With up to twenty branches in some stage of development at any time, organization and time management skills are essential as is the ability to work well with all types of people. I was involved with this program from beginning to end and I am very proud of what we as a team were able to accomplish.
June 2000 through December 2003 – General Superintendent on various commercial projects throughout the country. Predominantly engaged in tenant improvement work for retail, office and medical facilities. Traveled extensively throughout the country for A list clientele.
September 1999 – June 2000 – Superintendent on commercial projects throughout the country. Predominantly engaged in tenant improvement work for retail, office and medical facilities. Our team ran the highest grossing commercial project in the company history as of 06/2000.
Experience Continued
Accent Building Company, Inc. August 1996 – September 1999 – Project Manager it was my responsibility
to schedule and monitor construction activities on custom luxury homes located in several northern Greenville County developments. Consulted with architects on design and worked with clients on lot selection and then on all phases of their new home. Supervised three superintendents and two warrantee specialists to assure company standards were adhered to. I developed and implemented a customer turn over and warrantee program that resulted in fewer call backs and greater overall customer satisfaction.
Moovies, Inc. April 1994 through August 1996 – VP of Construction Moovies was Video
retailer engaged in the business of renting video tapes and DVD’s. As the head of construction, I worked hand in hand with the real-estate team member. It was my responsibility to assure that all construction related due diligence was completed. I was responsible for review of the Lease and the inclusion of “Exhibit C” if applicable. I worked closely with the architects to develop the “Standards” to be used in all future construction. I was also involved in the “new prototype” design, working closely with team members from the design and operations departments.

Recommendations “I have worked, managed,
designed and brainstormed with Mr. Johnson for the past 20 years. I know of no one who will take TRUE ownership of a project as he will. From the conception to closeout, from lift stations to ground up's. None manage the process better.”
