Paul Evans will review key insights from his research and work on human resource development and talent management, going from micro to macro global perspectives. At the individual level, he undertook the first major worldwide study of work-family as well as other research on leadership transitions and career development. At the cor-porate level, he has studied and worked with more than 200 corporations on talent management issues, often focusing on the dualities or paradoxes that they have to confront. He will finish at the national level with an assessment of Portugal’s talent competitiveness based on the Global Talent Competitiveness Index that he co-directs, where the 2015-16 results were presented at a January launch in Davos.
