Good Morning!
Welcome to our first day online!! ☺ Below you will find work that should be completed
today. You will see the subject and the name of the assignment(s) below. The name of
the assignment matches the worksheet that you have been given. You will also find
some fun resources to use whenever you would like. Make sure you eat a good
breakfast, take frequent breaks, get some wiggles out, and learn as much as you can! I
am already so proud of how hard I know you are going to work!!
Parents: If your student did not get a copy of the worksheets in class on Friday, you
can access the document by following the directions below:
1. Go to the Lorraine webpage and click on “Students” in the top menu bar.
Go to the left-hand side and click on “At Home Lessons”.
Scroll to the bottom and you will see your grade level or teacher name. Click on the name and the PDF document will load!
**Some of the worksheets are going to be out of order. Look for the title at the top of the worksheet and match it to the
lesson plan.**
Morning Work:
Good Morning Work March Math 1 and March Reading 1

You will complete both sides of this morning worksheet. One side is math and the other
side is reading. After you have finished both sides, make sure you add some color to the
pictures!

Math:
Tens & Ones
Cut around the dotted lines. Match the digit to the tens and ones. Glue the matching
cards to a sheet of paper. (Construction paper, copy paper, notebook paper etc.
Whatever you may have is fine!)
Color in the digits and numbers.
**Optional Enhancement – If you would like more practice, make these numbers using
playdough, markers, or crayons: 89, 57, 76, 14, 63, 92. When you are finished, take a
picture and upload it to your portfolio on DOJO.
ELA:
Adverb Word Search
Use the word bank to find the adverbs in the word search. Next, use the adverbs to
complete the sentences below. Use any adverb from the list that you would like as long
as it makes sense.
** Optional Enhancement – If you would like more practice, write 5 of your own
sentences using adverbs. Color the adverb that you choose to use with a yellow crayon
or marker.
Reading:
Missing Kitty
Read the passage Missing Kitty and answer the questions below. It is important that
your student learns to refer to the text for their answers. Have your students underline
their answer in the text. Make sure you have a capital letter, neat handwriting, and
correct punctuation at the end.

Reading Log:
Read any book of your choice for 30 minutes. Record it on your reading log inside of
your Lion Binder.
FRY Words:
Review your list of words found inside your Lion Binder
** Optional Enhancement – On the back, write about a time that something you loved
went missing. Was it a kitty? A pet? A toy? How did it make you feel? Did you find it?
Provide details in 5-8 sentences. Draw a picture at the bottom of your story.

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you had a great time of learning yesterday. Today, make it a goal to do 10 jumping jacks in between each
activity! ☺ Drink lots of water and kiss your brain for working so hard. I am SO proud of you!!
Let’s start your day off FUN! Get a piece of paper and draw a picture that includes these three things: a dog, a water
bottle, and a jump rope. Come up with a fun story that incorporates these three things! Be creative, silly, and have
FUN!! ☺
Morning Work:
Good Morning March Math 2 and March Reading 2

You will complete both sides of this morning worksheet. One side is math and the other side is reading. After you
have finished both sides, make sure you add some color to the pictures!
ELA:
ABC Order
Put the words from each box into ABC order. Color the picture when you are finished.
***Optional Enhancement***- Choose words from one or two of the boxes. On the back of your paper,
write sentences using the words from the boxes. Make sure you include details, capital letters, and
punctuation.
Math:
Solve and Search
Cut out the numbers and glue them below the correct problem.

Reading:
Sorting words with ue, u, and u_e
Lightly color in each crayon with a different color. Then, use those same colors to color the words in the boxes that
have the same vowel pattern.
Reading Log:
Read a book of choice for 30 mins. Record it on your reading log found in the front of your Lion Binder.
Fry Words:
Continue working on your FRY words. Create flash cards, play a matching game using the words, or use them in
sentences.

We still have a little work to do today BUT we have a lot of fun that needs to happen too! Great job on making it
through our first full week online! It sure has been different but different can be good. It stretches us and causes us to

Every Friday, I always let you guys free draw. For your morning work, I want you to look out a window somewhere in
your home. What do you see?? THAT is what I want you to draw and color ☺

Read Each Sentence. Re-write each sentence using correct capitalization and punctuation. Use your very
best handwriting!
