Dear people of God at Grace Lutheran Church ,
I cannot express my thanks enough to you
for the love, support, prayers, and
generosity you have shown me, Katie, and
Ethan over the last several weeks. Thank you
so much for all the many ways you have
cared for me, I can’t imagine how I would
have gotten through this without your
support. Thank you for embodying what it
means to be church together for me through
this difficult time. I have been so moved by
your kindness and patience in this season of
change and hardship for me . Thank you so
much for your incredible gifts of love and
generosity, I am so deeply thankful for each
one of you and all that you have done for
me.
Lent is always a great time in our
congregation where we get the amazing gift
of more time to gather together in
community with food and fellowship. I hope
that many of you will take the opportunity to
come to our Lenten suppers, and also
consider joining us for Holy Week services.
We also have take-home devotional kits
available for families to use to bring faith
into your daily lives. This season is an
important part of our faith in Jesus, and is
also a great time for you to focus in deeper
on your relationship with God and your
personal daily faith life.
Blessings to you as we journey through Lent
together!
Pastor Cassie

The 20 in 20 task force presents:
Ways to make others feel welcome!
During the passing of the peace reach out to those around you that you don’t know!
If you see someone new, say “welcome, we’re glad you’re here!” and introduce yourself.
If you see someone sitting alone, offer to sit with them and pay attention so they know what to do at communion and other parts of the service.
Invite people to come to other church events, maybe say, “Hey would you like to join me at dinner on Wednesday?”

The national youth gathering is a transformative faith

activities.
If your family is interested in sending a youth please let
Pastor Cassie know by April 15th.
