At Cherry Creek Schools, our promise to our community is excellence for every student, every day.
I’m excited for the future of the Cherry Creek School District.
We are at a promising moment for the more than 55,000 students currently enrolled in Cherry Creek Schools, and for our entire community. At Cherry Creek Schools, the demands of an ever-changing world are steering our approach to excellence. We’re drawing on a proud tradition of more than 65 years of inspiring students to think, to learn, to achieve and to care and finding a strategy that fits the demands of 21st-century learning.
Whether they’re kicking off their first year in kinder-garten or beginning their final year in high school, our students face a future where skills like critical thinking, problem solving and creativity will increasingly play a critical role in determining success. As teachers, administrators and community members, it’s our responsibility to make sure they’re properly prepared for their future.
Innovation spaces are going up in every elementary and middle school across the district. The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus is well on its way to open-ing its doors in the fall of 2019, and our commitment to inclusive excellence remains a cornerstone of our strategic approach.
These are only a few examples of our broader push toward the next iteration of excellence, one where we prepare our students in every way possible so that they have an active role in their future. In Cherry Creek Schools, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. We want to connect all of our students to their right future.
We look forward to taking up that charge for the 2018-19 school year, and we’re proud to have your support and collaboration.
