For 30 years UC was published as a newspaper, with the change in demands, it was decided to convert into a full color 70+ page magazine. I was signed on to create the identity and style guide of the issues to come. In addition to it’s brand, I was lead creative for the concept and layout design of each article. Other tasks included photography direction, editing, magazine promotions, subscriber mailers, and editor + marketing team collaboration.

As an intern, I got to see the ins and outs of Denyse Schmidt’s creative process, a common name in the Modern Quilt world. Internally I branded and redesigned all of their forms and customer service documents. Other projects included web + print ads, promotional fliers and postcards and photo+blog management.
