The city houses famous historical sites including Charminar, Chouwmahalla, Salar Jung Museum (among the worlds largest private collection Museum) art galleries, libraries, sports complex and theaters. The Charminar is as much the signature of Hyderabad as the Tajmahal is of Agra or the Eiffel tower is of Paris.
The Cyber towers of the Hi-tech city of trade and technology embodies the new bounded attitude of Hyderabad and today finds a place of pride. It is the nucleus of the city and IT destination in this part of the world.
Hyderabad was historically known as pearl and diamond trading centre, and it continues to be known as "City of Pearls". Industrialization through out the 20th century attracted major manufacturing, Research and financial institutions including BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals), NGRI (National GeophysicalResearch Institute), CCMB (Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology).
Sailing and water sports are a regular feature at the Hussain Sagar. One of the worlds tallest monolithic statues of Buddha stands on the "Rock of Gilbert", in the middle of the Lake. Surroundings of the Hussain Sagar Lake provides marvelous entertainment options like NTR Gardens, Necklace Road, Tank Bund, Prasad's Multiplex, Lumbini Park, Sanjeevaiah Park etc.
Falaknuma Palace was built in several phases by Nizams during 1857 - 1869 and is now one of the heritage buildings. The complex comprises of four palaces in Mogal and European styles.
Hyderabad city is well connected with Road ways, Railways and Air ways. The internal parts of the city is well connected with Road and Railways of which Hyderabad Metro Rail being one of the advanced and fastest transit available connecting different parts of the twin cities.
Delegates & Participants are requested to make their own arrangements of travel and accommodation. However, necessary information and support will be provided for accommodation in near by hotels on request. Double room tariff varies from INR 1500 to INR 5000 per day. College will provide necessary free transportation from important places of Hyderabad city.
