New counselling
The Danish government has decided that all asylum
seekers in Denmark who are rejected in Refugee
Board should be offered personalized advice from
the Danish Refugee Council.
Specifically, this means that the Danish Refugee
Council from the start of May, one day each week
will have a counsellor at Hanstholm Asylumcenter,
who will advise you about your options.
A counsellor will look into your case and discuss with
you the possibility to return to your country.
If there are any of you who has got negative in the
Refugee Board and who wants such advice, you
should contact Lone, who has an office next to the
clinic.
The Danish Refugee Council will as soon as possible
invite you all to a joint meeting to provide general
information about this offer.
Multi Track
As some of you have heard. The center has pur-
chased a Multi Track, which will be located behind
house 12. There you can play football and basketball
and other things.
We hope that the new multi-track will be ready for
use around 1st of May.
Sincerely,
Lars Andersen, Chief

Moad fik kvalificeret modstand
Helt klart me-

1:28:26 A half marathon in 1 hour, 28 minutes and 26 seconds . A time that most dream about under optimum running condi-tions. 16 -year-old Moroccan -born Mohammed ( Moad ) Da-hani dream too.
Since autumn 2013, Moad has been at “Children's Center Vestervig” for unaccompanied boys where he goes to school and train daily. Moad is
dreaming of a future as an elite athletics runner in Den-mark and Europe.
Steen Mogensen , president of Thyholm Running Club hasn't trained a talent like Moad be-fore.
Thy Trail Marathon Saturday 22th February Moad competed in the half mara-thon distance in this year’s Thy Trail Marathon (Denmark's toughest marathon). The in-tention of the race is to be as tough and demanding as possi-ble. The race is in Thy National
Park on small paths (trails) through terrain and on the beach.
Moad prefers to run 800 and 1500 m, but when he got the opportunity to run Thy Trail, he took it.
Moad was seriously challenged on the very demanding and slow route from some of the best trail runners, led by one of the world's best orienteers, Tue Lassen, who last year won the marathon distance.

Definitely more of a route for a strong senior orientation run-ner than for a 16 year old 1500m runner.
Moad pressed Tue throughout the race and on the last km to the beach south of Klitmøller to the finish by the lobster house, Moad beat Tue in the heavy loose sand .
Moads victory has echoed in
running circles , and several Danish athletic clubs have shown interest in getting Moad to their club .
Athletics Club
Moad dreams of moving to a Danish town with an active athletics club where he can get the opportunity to train in op-timal conditions and gain an international running career in the same way as Wilson Kip-keter , who at age 17 came
from Kenya to Copenhagen .
Wilson moved in with an ath-letics family where he got the opportunity to train and go to his school .
I think that Moad this year will run 800m and 1500m respec-tively under 2 and 4 minutes.
Maybe we will see Moad in red and white colors for the Olympics in 2020 at 1500m

Det morede vi os me-get over.

Saturday the 22th of March we had a nice day, where we played cricket in “Hanstholm Hallen”.
Matches in cricket usually take days and are played outdoors. But the weather isn't warm enough for this yet, so it was instead four hours indoors.
Three players from Nykøbing Cricket Club came with the equipment and played with seven of our talents.
Figo, the interpreter, also came by—with his own homemade rules. We had a lot of fun with this.
Zabi Khwaja showed good class and scored max points and little Amir Hussein, who had his birthday the day before, played really well, even better than his father.
It was good day and we will try to make it again.

Fastelavn is the name for Carnival in
Denmark, Norway, Iceland and the Fa-
roe islands which is either the Sunday
or Monday before Ash Wednesday.
Fastelavn evolved from the Roman
Catholic tradition of in the days before
Lent, but after Denmark became a Pro-
testant nation, the holiday became less
specifically religious.
This holiday occurs seven weeks before
Easter Sunday and is sometimes descri-
bed as a Nordic Halloween, with
children dressing up in costumes and
gathering treats for the Fastelavn feast.
The holiday is generally considered to
be a time for children's fun and family
games.

Her heroin addict husband
desperate for a fix, cut off Si-

Neighbours found the woman,
Sitara, 30, unconscious in her
home, with her nose and lips

They were alerted about the
trouble when they heard the
screams of the children in the

Sami Wafa, spokesman for the

In our society in the western
countries we can politically ex-
press it, and we hold the gov-
ernment responsible for that.
We will directly express it to
the government if they are
stoning a woman or if they are
mutilating a woman . I feel the
deepest respect for those
women and for those who
come and fight like a tiger for
their children and escape their
countries to be safe. I cele-
brate women's day in any way
to remember those women
who are still suffering.
I have a message for those
women, keep fighting for your
life and never give up.
And I want from other people
to give hope for those women,
and the world has got so small
that we can communicate via
internet.
I would like to say we have to
keep fighting for women's
right and supporting them.
In my youth we had a group of

course supporting each other
and giving hope to each other

sia's involvement in Crimea was
"a brazen military incursion".
The Ukrainian foreign ministry
said: "We do not recognise and
never will recognise the so-
called independence or the so-
called agreement on Crimea
joining the Russian Federation."
Ukraine's interim PM (Arseniy
Yatsenyuk) said the Crimea crisis
had moved from the political to
the military stage.
Germany and France quickly
condemned the Russia-Crimea
treaty.
UK Prime Minister David Cam-
eron said: "It is completely unac-
ceptable for Russia to use force
to change borders on the basis
of a sham referendum held at
the barrel of a Russian gun."
Mr Putin later appeared before
crowds in Moscow's Red Square,
telling them: "Crimea and Sevas-
topol are returning to their
home, to their home port, to
Russia!"
And crimean officials say that, in
a referendum held in the pre-
dominantly ethnic-Russian re-
gion on Sunday, 97% of voters
backed splitting from Ukraine.
But the EU and US have declared
the vote illegal.
Travel bans and asset freezes
have been imposed on govern-
ment officials and other figures
in Russia, Crimea and Ukraine,
but these have been largely dis-
missed as ineffectual in Russia.
A Ukrainian ultra-nationalist
leader has been shot dead in
what officials described as a
special forces operation.
He was a leader of Right Sector,
a far-right group which was
prominent in the recent
anti government protests.
Mr Tenyukh had been accused
of indecision in the face of Rus-
sia's military takeover of Crimea.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
had held talks with his Ukrainian
counterpart Andriy Deshchytsia -
their first
meeting since
Russia's move
into Crimea
triggered a
diplomatic cri-
sis.
Ukraine's Deputy Interior Minis-
ter Vladimir Yevdokimov said
Muzychko died after opening
fire at police and Sokol special
forces, who had raided a cafe to
arrest him and fellow ultra-
nationalists. The authorities de-
scribed Muzychko as a criminal
gang leader.
The US and EU are discussing
"deeper sanctions" against Rus-
sia if there are "further incur-
sions into Ukraine".
US President Barack Obama said
"energy is obviously a central
focus of our efforts", acknowl-
edging it "will have some impact
on the global economy".
He was speaking after talks in
Brussels with EU leaders Jose
Manuel Barroso and Herman
Van Rompuy.
Mr Obama said: “The world is
safer and more just when
Europe and America stand as
one”. Mr Van Rompuy, European
Council president, called it a
"crucial" relationship.
Their talks at the headquarters
of the 28-nation
EU also covered plans to finalise
a transatlantic trade partnership,
as well as efforts to tackle Iran's
nuclear programme and Syria's
chemical weapons.
One month bomb blasts leave 245 killed and wounded in Afghanistan. Administrative affairs and se-
cretariat of ministers' council of Afghanistan states that more than 13.000 security forces have been killed during the past 13 years, and an ad-ditional 16.511 Afghan sol-diers and police officers wounded. The Taliban insurgent group has largely been using home-made IEDs to launch suicide attacks and roadside bomb-ings against security forces but the lethal weapon also inflicts casualties on civilians. About 2.900 civilians were killed and nearly 5.700 wounded in conflicts and Tali-ban-led attacks in the war-torn country last year, accord-ing to UN mission officials.
