We are Senorics, a high-tech spin-off from the University of Technology Dresden (TUD). We are specialized in designing and manufacturing optical spectroscopic sensor solutions for mass market applications. With our technology, material sensing is becoming easy and affordable.
To support you on your journey to implement spectroscopy in your products, we offer a toolbox with hardware components, corresponding software solutions and services. Those services include sensor customiza-tion, contract engineering, sensor training (chemometrics) and consulting.

Our technology is like the GPS back in the 1990s. Once it was just a toy for scientists and geeks. Today it’s in every smartphone and people can’t imagine living without it. This is what we’re working on: incorporate spectroscopy into people’s daily life.

HOW SPECTROSCOPY WORKS
The sample/apple is illuminated with a light source (1). The light waves are either being reflected or absorbed by the sample (2). A detector then detects the light waves reflected by or transmit-ted through the sample and translates them into data (3). This data is analyzed to identify the material respectively the ingredients. (4).
