TWA Flight Center
The TWA Flight Center or Trans World Flight Center,[2] opened May 28, 1962 as a standalone terminal at New
York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) for Trans World Airlines. It was designed by Eero Saarinen. The
design of the TWA Terminal began in early 1956, construction work in June 1959.

known as Idlewild Airport at the time). Eero Saarinen and his Detroit-based firm were commissioned in 1955
to design the TWA Flight Center.
The Heinz-Galinski School is a state-accredited private day school under the auspices of the Jewish
Community of Berlin. Its classes go up to the sixth form. Currently 270 pupils are enrolled in 17
classes, each of which has a maximum of 24 children. The school is open to children of Jewish and
non-Jewish backgrounds. Pupils always are accompanied by a tutor during class time and free time,
and there are both study and play rooms available.
