• Be organised; meet deadlines.• Little things make a big difference.• Make sure you know what’s being asked of

you. • If unsure, ask.• Refer everything to yourself.

• Read as widely as you can – ex. RSS feeds, library. • Engage via twitter, facebook, LinkedIn• Wordpress and Blogger – ex. Dave Lee and Josh Halliday• Posterous and Tumblr – personal scrapbooks. • Write about your interests. • Publish your CV as a PDF• Manage your personal brand –Employers will check. • Don’t panic. • Ask questions.
