STEP 1 :GO TO START MENU AND CLICK ON MICROSOFT ACCESS

Step 2 : click on blank database

Step 3 : give a file name and choose a path to save the document

Step 4 : click on create

Step 5 : click on external data and then select text file

Step 6 : click on browse to find the path of the file to be imported

Step : 7 Click on ok

Click next without making any changes

Step 8 :Select the option “first row

contains field names” and go NEXT

Step 9 :

Change the data type accordingly.

i.e : change data with both characters and numbers into text, data with only numbers into long integer and prices into currency

Select the option “choose my own primary key” and choose a unique record and click next

Step 11 :Change

the name of the table if necessary and click on finish.
