2015 HANDBALL SEASON IS UPON USby Paul Williams - Founder ICHA
The new handball season is upon us with a blink of an eye. If you
play handball year round like most of us , the action never seems
to end. In addition to the regular annual tournaments,
2015 is the year of the World Handball Championships in Calgary,
Canada August 11 - 21. It’s time to start preparing to compete and
make travel plans. Time for all United States players to support
each other as we compete in the international arena. We are
all Team USA, let us make it our business to embrace our
international brothers and sisters but keep our eyes on the prize.
Take Home the Gold

2 THE PERFECT GAME
34th Long Island Openin memory of Sid Aconsky by Glenn Hall
The event featured both small and big ball 4 wall, the only event in
the east to offer these and response has been excellent with again our
attendance of about 80 contestants. Many thanks to all of our support
at the tournament desk of Paul Williams, Billy OD'onnell, Sandy Ng
and Danielle Daskalaskis. Our tournament was held in memory of
Sid Aconsky who passed the away in 2014. Sid and his brother Lenny
were among ICHA's most generous supporters for many years.
His friendship will be missed by those who knew him.
