Re-invigorating these ideals, the Bengaluru Kendra haspioneeredseveralprogrammesthathavefocussedonleavingalastinglegacyforfuturegenerations.Takingittothecommonmanthroughvariedmediasuchasperformingarts,seminarsand institutionalized teaching of many branches of Indianknowledge has been the roadmap chosen by theBengaluruKendratokeepaliveIndianculture.
TheKendrahasespeciallyfocussedonthis,itspioneeringworkinresurrectingrareandfadingartsinelevenStatesacrossthecountry and conducting international conferences on Indianscripturesbeingitslandmarkcontributioninrecentyears.Thevisionaryoutlookandfocusonreachingouttoyouththroughalltheseactivitieshasensuredtheparticipationofyoungstersintheseprogrammes.
Since 2013, the Kendra has been holding mega annualconferences on Indian scriptures of antiquity andworldliterature-- Veda Samvada (2013), Upanishad Sandesha(2014),MessageofMahapuranas(2015)andMessageofMahakavyas(2016).
Over250topdoctoralscholarsfromacrossthecountryhaveparticipatedintheseminars,presentingabout300papers,eachoneofthetopicshavingaconnectionandrelevancetopresenttimes, lending them practical value. Some 25 establishedscholarswerehonouredontheoccasion.
Asanintegralpartofdisseminatingknowledgethroughtheseseminars,bookexhibitionswereheldasanadjuncttothemainevent,witheveryeveningdevotedtomusic,danceandtheatre,theirthemesdrawnfromtheseminartopics.Theinternationalconferenceswere a holistic intellectual, literary, and culturalcomingtogetherofthebestinthechosen�ields,interspersedwiththerecitationofVedasallthrough.
TheKendraacknowledgesthatISKCON,Bengaluru,hasgivenunconditionalsupport,withoutwhoseactiveinvolvement,theconferenceswouldnothavebeensosuccessful.Thisyeartoo,theBengaluruBhavan and ISKCONare organizing a �ive-dayseminar,Message of Bhagavatha, from June 14, focussing ontopicssuchascosmology,geography,genealogy,yoga,legends,musicanddance.
ThemostimportantoutcomeandlastinglegacyofBengaluruBhavan,hasbeenthedocumentationofalltheconferencesinbothbookanddigitalform,whichisofgreatarchivalvalue.
