Content Analysis
‘The Princess on the Road’ is an interesting one act play
written by ‘Kathleen Conyngham Greene’. It centers around a
princess who is ill-treated by the villagers when she sheds her royal
attire and appears dressed up as a peasant girl to exercise her royal
prerogatives. The author throws light on how women, especially if
they don’t have respectable positions are singled out by the society.
