The Sixth Form Centre and dedicatedboarding house include private ensuite rooms and an open plancommon room and kitchen withplenty of space to unwind with acoffee, catch up with friends or playpool.
We’re here to equip you with whatyou need to enjoy an exciting future, whether that’s by helping you toidentify your passions, goals andstrengths or teaching you how to liveindependently. We run a gourmet
cooking course to help you preparefor life at university and you’ll take partin our Body for Life health and fitnessprogramme.

We offer a broad choice of science
subjects and have our own Bethany
STEM club.
We encourage participation in nationalevents like the BP Ultimate STEMChallenge at the Science Museum.We’ll encourage you to combine yourlove of science with other subjects sothat you develop the skills you need toenjoy a future in medicine,engineering, technology or whatever isyour thing.
Fantastic sport and fitness facilities
Our sport facilities are superb. Wehave a new 25 metre indoor pool, highropes, a flood-lit all-weather surface, afully equipped, state of the art fitnesscentre, an inside climbing wall,purpose-built PE classrooms, squashand tennis courts and a number ofoutdoor pitches.
Sports Leaders
HSL3 (Higher Sports Leaders Award)is a nationally recognised qualificationthat enables successful learners toindependently lead purposeful andenjoyable sport/physical activity.Learners must complete a minimum
of 30 hours of leadership throughout this qualification. Year 13 pupils areable to take part.
We run an impressive fixtures list inmajor team, individual and small teamsports. Our staff are specialists,offering professional-level coaching forpupils.
Our traditional sports such as football,rugby, tennis, cricket, hockey, roundersand netball regularly enjoy impressivesuccess against much larger schools.We’re also proud sponsors of theTunbridge Wells Rugby Club and havea close affiliation with Paris Saint-Germain Academy.

OVERSEAS TRAVEL
Trips and adventures are an
important part of life in the Sixth
Form at Bethany, giving you the
chance to put the skills you have
developed into practice.
Some trips are academic, some artistic,some sporting, but all are rewarding,and many are life-changing!
Recent trips have included camping ina game reserve in South Africa andgoing on safari. Our regular pupilexchanges with overseas schools givesyou a chance to explore the city andsurrounding areas before welcomingyour exchange student to the UK.
Other trips have included visits toNew York, Paris and Rome, and athree week visit to Costa Rica wherepupils participated in community
projects and immersed themselves inlocal culture. It’s all part of our aim togive you the chance to gain hands onexperience of what it means to bepart of a global community.
