The first stage of the Gladstone Ports Corporation RG Tanna Coal Terminal commenced operation in 1976. To ensure long time design life of these assets, a comprehensive structural integrity system is essential.
Guided by Galdstone Ports Corporation’s Tony Micalizzi, this presentation will provide an insight into the structural integrity system that is currently employed at RG Tanna Coal Terminal.
Gladstone Ports Corporation has developed procedures to inspect and classify the integrity of the conveyor gantry structures to extend the life of the structures. Using these procedures, Frost Engineers have been carrying out inspections on the GPC Structures, assessing condition and recommending remedial repairs, based on their condition.
