TEAM MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT Date: November 24, 2014 To: Watco Team From: Ron Martin, Vice President of Transportation Safety and Training Subject: Jason Stutzman, Director-‐ Transportation Safety and Training I am pleased to announce that Jason Stutzman has accepted the position of Director -‐ Transportation Safety and Training. In this position, Jason will work closely with the Regional Safety Managers to develop and improve initial
and annual refresher training courses. He will be working with the different regions to provide assistance and guidance with regulatory record keeping requirements and will work with the railroads to manage FRA certification programs, and other required programs to ensure a well trained and qualified workforce. Jason will also be responsible for managing the daily duties of the Regional Safety Managers. Jason joined the Watco Team in 1997 as a Conductor/Engineer for the Eastern Idaho Railroad. In 2001 he took a position with the Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad as a Trainmaster and was named Regional Safety Manager for the West Region in 2003. Jason served in the US Army from 1993 to 1997. Jason and his wife Danelle have three children, Brinley, 15; Braedan, 12; and Liam, 6. He enjoys being outdoors with his family and hunting and fishing.
