1. 'Consent for Establishment' as per the revised facilities and capacities shall be obtainedfrom the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
2. No change in the overall capacity of the plant (10 MTPA) and further expansion ormodifications in the plant shall be carried out without prior approval of the Ministry ofEnvironment and Forests.
3. All the standards prescribed for the coke oven plants shall be followed as per the latestguidelines. Proper and full utilization of coke oven gases in power plant using waste heatrecovery steam generators shall be ensured and no flue gases shall be discharged intothe air.

4. Proper and full utilization of coke oven gases in power plant using heat recovery steamgenerators shall be ensured and no flue gases shall be discharged into the air.
5. Total water requirement from Tungbhadra dam and Krishna River (Almatti Dam) shallnot exceed 6,508 m3/day.
6. Continuous monitoring of Total Organic Compounds (TOe) shall be done at the outlet ofETP (BOD plant) and wastewater shall be used for wet quenching.
7. All the recommendations made in the Charter on Corporate Responsibility forEnvironment Protection (CREP) for the Coke oven plants shall be implemented.
8. As proposed, total cost of the project will be Rs. 16,454.00 Crores. Rs. 1,400.00 Croresearmarked towards the environmental pollution control measures shall be judiciouslyused to implement the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of Environment and Forestsas well as the State Government. The funds so provided shall not be diverted for anyother purpose.
9. All the other specific and general conditions shall remain as mentioned in theenvironmental clearanceJetter no. J-11011/364/2006- IA II (I) dated th May, 2007.
10. Regular submission of compliance report to this Ministry including its Regional Office atBangalore, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KPCB) and Central PollutionControl Board (CPCB) shall be ensured.
11. A copy of this letter shall be attached with the original clearance letter no. J11011/364/2006- IA II (I) dated th May, 2007.
