‘Like’ our page to see regular updates about all of the great things that are happening at
BPS. At present, we’re just using it to celebrate the fabulous things that are happening in
school. Newsletters, texts and specific letters will still be sent home when we need to send
information for parents and carers.
Summer Term Dates for your Diary
As we approach this busy time of the year please find below a list of important dates for
your diaries. This list will have dates and times added to it so please check it weekly.
Monday 8th July - KS2 Visit to the Rose Theatre - pm
Year 6 Wizard of Oz Production – 6.30 – 8pm at the Rose
Theatre
STEM Week – 8th - 12th July - no hot dinners available on
Tuesday 9th July
Friday 12th July - Year 6 overnight camp
15th – 19th July - Sports Week – wear sporting clothes everyday (no Forest
School this week)
Monday 15th July - Year 2 Bell Boating – please pay via ‘Parent pay’
Wednesday 17th July - Elmer’s Sports Day 10.30 – 12.30 – information on Tapestry
Wednesday 17th July - Year 6 Oscars – arrivals from 5.30. 6pm start until 8.30pm
Thursday 18th July - Sports Day – letters with full details have gone home.
Friday 19th July - Elmer’s Graduation 2.15 – 3pm
Friday 19th July - End of Term

Nursery News
Please can parents say goodbye at the door and
wave through the window. This will support your
child when that start Reception in September.
Elmer's sports day will take
place on Wednesday 17th July
from 10.30 - 12.30pm. This
includes sporting events and a
picnic. Letters with full details
have been sent home.
Elmer's graduation will take place on Friday 19th July from 2.15 - 3pm in the hall. A letter has been sent out with further information.
Sports Week
Monday 15th July to Friday 19th July
Children will be able to wear sporting
clothes every day, as sporting activities
on and off site will be taking place all
week. Children only need to wear Team
colours on Sports Day.
Team colours are only required for
Sports Day on Thursday 18th July.

Whole School Well Done
We are very proud to have achieved a Gold award for
our efforts and achievements in PE during 2018/19.
Well Done to all the staff and children.
Instrumental Lessons 2019-2020
Having received several applications for lessons next year, we have the spaces
available in the following shared lessons: flute, keyboard and violin.
If your child would be interested in taking up one of these instruments please contact
the office by Tuesday 9th July.
Parents of all new pupils will receive further information during the final week of
term.
