 Do you know these?
Recognising symbols is important in daily
life.
People think it is most important to learn
how to read books.
 But remembering signs, foods and
products is just as useful.
Sora Kopfstein, Head Teacher at Kisharon
Day School, told this to parents of
children with learning difficulties.
These parents want their children to learn.
She said children could learn from seeing
and remembering items they saw or
places they went to every single day.
This is a very important step in learning
how to read, she said.
Other talks for parents are taking place at
Kisharon Day School. For information, call
the school on 020 8455 7483.
