Kanazawa, Japan, October 1-5, 2018
JSSX, The Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics and MDO, Microsomes and Drug Oxidations are world-lead-ing scientific societies on xenobiotic metabolism and trans-port as well as drug-induced toxicity, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenomics/genetics, analytical chemistry and regulatory sciences. This is the first joint meeting by these two societies and we expect all of you to be inspired with new science, to present your own research and to communi-cate with new friends. The theme of this joint meeting is “Social Impact of ADME/Tox Research on Safety/Toxicity of Drug Products”, which aimed that our scientific research should contribute to health improvement of our society through safe and efficacious pharmacotherapy.
Kanazawa is an historic city located just 2½ hours from Tokyo by the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Bullet Train), or a 1 hour flight from either Haneda or Narita Tokyo International Airports. The venue (Ishikawa Ongakudo, Public Concert Hall) is conveniently located in front of Kanazawa Train Station, and many hotels, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. As well as being the location of Japan’s most famous garden, Kenrokuen, and numerous other sights such as Ninja Temple, Kanazawa is famous through-out Japan for its seafood and sushi, and thus attendees will have a chance to discover a hidden corner of Japan.
