Where can I find a good game of pool? If you are like most players, trying to improve your game, there is only one good way to do it. Find better players and you will be playing better pool
soon.
How do you find good play-ers? There is two good ways to find good players. The better players will be doing one of two things with their time. They might look for tournaments in the
area or join a league.
These two activities are now available to Kingman area residents. The King-man Pool Players web site now sponsors tournaments and league play bringing
better players closer.
Even if you don’t want to improve your game you are
still welcome to come out and have a night of fun. With your own team of friends or family you can guarantee that you will spend at least one night
with the ones you love.
Or if you can’t spend that much time away from home
and you do get a night out. Check our calendar and join us for a tournament. At times local companies and individuals donate door
prizes for the contestants.
With more cash prizes and free gifts, how can you have
a bad time.

Where Can I Find A Good Game of Pool
We Are Four Strong
I am so glad that I know of a few women who have the guts to come and play in tournaments with all of the guys! I was once alone in this game but not anymore! My thanks to Elizabeth and Ronnie and Dolores! Elizabeth is not new to playing in the tournaments as myself,
but Ronnie and Dolores were! Ronnie came out and took first place in our eight ball tourney at the Fireside on a Thursday night. Then this Thursday night Dolores came out for her first time and took third place! I really hope that by word of mouth that all of the women pool
players realize that we are a competitive bunch of females, giving the men a challenge! So I am calling all women new players as well as old ones to come out and help us four so as we can be just as strong in num-bers as the men! I know your out there!

INSIDE THIS ISSUE:

There is a couple that I have known for a while that have the ability to shoot a mean stick. I have watched them play each other as well as oth-ers and myself. Due to them both being teachers they can not shoot some of our tournaments. I am so
glad that they showed up at the right time at the right place! The place was the Fireside. The time was our Thursday night tournament. The couple I am talking about is Ronnie and Randy. When Ronnie won she had to play Randy right off the bat and thought she would lose, not! That was all the confidence she needed to win first place. Upon return Randy had no intention of entering but I talked him into it. I am so glad I did! He came out strong once again against his partner Ronnie and defeated her giving him the confidence to win third place. I like this couple, they are remarkable together and
challenging on their own! So now my calling is with all of the couples that play pool, come out and join the fun and get the confidence you need from your part-ner like this couple and you just might place! I want to thank these two teachers for playing and hope that when they can, they will be back! Con-gratulations!

This December, the annual Mosconi Cup returns to the MGM
Grand in Las Vegas as Team USA come back to the table having hung onto to
the trophy by the narrowest of margins last year in Rotter-
dam, Holland. A last-gasp tied result meant that the American’s retained
the Mosconi Cup as holders but they will be looking for some-thing a little more
emphatic when the two sides collide from Thursday 13 – Sun-
day 16th December. Taking place at the Studio Ballroom at the fabulous MGM
Grand, the Mosconi Cup will feature two five-man teams rep-
resenting both Amer-ica and Europe doing battle over four days in a series of singles
a n d d o u b l e s matches. With five players representing each team the follow-
ing eight players have been selected with the final two
spots to be deter-mined shortly:

wanted was a pool table, some where to play darts, and lets not forget her two lane bowling alley. In my eyes her dream is slowly becoming true and I love to see her look at the pool table in amazement that she can play pool when she
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Monica Morris and yes my mom is Arlene. I have got-ten this sudden urge to play pool. This strange and sudden urge came from having a pool table in the middle of my living room. I have noticed that my game plans have been improv-ing and as well as for my short and long shots. I am beginning to play pool when I come home from school, when I get bored, when I have friends over, etc. I have heard my mom for years say that when she got her own house that all she
wants now. I am understanding that pool is math in a different way. I have noticed that if I make a wrong math problem in my head then I miss a shot. The same for if I do a math problem in my head correct then my shot goes how I wanted it. Not only has this wonderful game had an influence on
me, but it has on my three year old niece Trinity as well. She knows how to rack the balls and to use the cube ball to brake. Well I hope that you all have seen what an impact pool playing has become on me and my niece.
