SUMMER 2015
ON THE GOEquestrianism. A word referred to the art of horsemanship and the practice of the diverse branches within this sport. Nonetheless, it contains greatly more than the relationship between a man and his horse. From long before dusk till far past dawn, horses, riders, grooms and trainers are only a few of the many passionate beings involved in this demanding lifestyle. Without the individual motivation and strong team spirit that moves this industry, it would in fact never have reached the great success it has today.
Inspired by these eventful agendas, Kingsland endeavors to develop and adapt its collections to this unique lifestyle. Once again we are proud to present our renowned quality and comfort brought together with exceptional designs in this new selection of equestrian apparel, high-end horse gear and neat accessories.
For this new edition of the Kingsland Catalogue we have travelled around with our riders sporting the Kingsland Summer 2015 Collection, following their pace as they are on the go from one show to another or back at home training for the next event. With a clear insight of the busy life equestrianism entails, our goal is to continue to fulfill the demands of all riders and horse lovers worldwide, from training to loading your horses, the journey ahead and finally all the way to that very deserved place on the podium.

GLOBETROTTERS Our riders are an imperative part of our inspiration as we follow their busy competition schedule around the world. Apart from seeing some of the greatest international are-nas and participating in the most spectacular shows they also once in a while have the chance to be regular tourists and enjoy the places they visit as a prize for all their hard work. And what doesn’t pay off more than the possibility to reencounter and catch up with your friends every time you arrive at a different destination?

SUMMER 2015
HORSESWho would we be without them? Just as important as the rider, these magnificent animals follow the schedule we set up and perform at their very best regardless where they are and what time of year it is. It is vital for us to take good care of them and understand every minuscule need, adapting their nature to us makes it just as important for us to take in consideration their well-being. Plenty of gear is designed to match these situations and to take care of our four-legged partners in the very best way. We believe they deserve the best of attention and we love to see our horse gear worn by these noble athletes all over the world.

SUMMER 2015
BACK HOMEEvery outstanding performance begins with solid ground work at home. Refining every detail before the big day takes a great deal of effort, persistence and patience. All our equipment and garments are created with this very same mindset and destined to comply with the heavy work as much as looking fabulous. State of art designs and carefully chosen materials make this summer Kingsland collection a top notch trendsetter. With bright colours and elaborate details it’s hard to choose between the smashing variety of styles.
ASHFORD FARM
ASHFORD FARMRight outside the little town of Maaseik, Belgium, surrounded by the greenest pastures and most serene atmosphere you could imagine, lays a little equestrian garden of Eden: Ashford Farm. Although quiet in surroundings it is currently one of the busiest trading stables in Europe driven by Irish businessman, former showjumper and equine enthusiast Enda Carroll. Just recently built, the brand new premises were ready for the team and the horses in March 2014. Kingslands Angelica Augustsson is based here and currently achieving great results with a string of fantastic horses and
enjoying a marvelous team by her side.
PREPARATIONSAs the big date is approaching every detail must be carefully planned and all issues taken care off. The logistics behind every show are impressive and every part of the team holds important responsibilities. A remarkable deal of equipment must be taken along not only for the horses and riders but also for the rest of the busy crew.
The grooms and stable managers do a fantastic job organizing the equipages needs and planning ahead every possible situation that may arise during the trip. It is after all this kind of team work that stands behind every grand result. Kingsland’s fantastically assorted line of clothing and gear is destined to be employed by every member of these equestrian teams, big or small, private or corporate. Our goals are to continue to make people proud of wearing our brand and to create such a sense of unity and team spirit through using our products.
IT’S SHOWTIMEThe time has come for all efforts to conclude and hopes are high for all that hard work to pay off. Apart from representing the outcome of arduous training and hours of preparation, it is after all essential for the equipage to look at its very best. With such a physically demanding task, nothing beats a fashionable garment that gives you the classic elegance without compromising the comfort. Neatly tailored with fantastic materials and beautiful details, the exclusive designs by Kingsland have concluded in this gorgeous selection of high end show-wear at its finest.
Unique technicalities and special blends conform this summer’s collec-tion, focusing as always on giving the best to both horse and rider.

SUMMER 2015
LANAKENAnother of our fantastic locations for this photo-shoot took place at the astounding stud farm Zangersheide located in Lanaken, Belgium. Fields filled with horses and foals as far as the eye can see makes this place paradise for any horselover. Established in the early 70’s by Leon Melchior as a showjumping stable which later developed into a breeding facility with their very own studbook. This name is well regarded internationally as it is per today one of the largest producers of top showjumping horses performing at the very pinnacle of their sport worldwide. Current manager, owner and Kingsland rider Judy-Ann Melchior opened their doors to us as we spent a day at this amazing center during the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for
Young Horses.
ACTIONDressed for success- Our remarkable stable of riders is
always around and about, travelling from one place to
another and climbing the ranking lists as they go. With
their extraordinary horses and supportive team behind
them you will be sure to see them on international
podiums for a long time to come. Our collections are
designed focusing on their needs and of course their
very appreciated feedbacks, assuring that our products
always measure up to every single rider no matter what
level they are on or where they come from.

SUMMER 2015
As horse and rider fly together over the obstacles, the spectators faces light up with fascination, from beginning to end every jump is a challenge and one small mistake makes the entire difference. The airtime seems eternal as the equipage hovers over fences as high as themselves. This is what we are eager to see more of as time goes by, more enthusiastic riders reaching their goals and
INVISIBLE WINGSenvisioning their future. Seeing some of the best riders in the world today performing with our designs and living up to their dreams is priceless. We hope to be standing at the sideline witnessing every step on the way and of course supporting every encouraged rider with the quality and style that he or she deserves.

SUMMER 2015
They both had great results after one of the – if not the most- demanding competitions within the sport. Today they are still highly successful on an international level which no doubt requires a large amount of self-discipline and hard work.
In autumn 2013 Reed decided to leave the States where she had been training with her long term coach and godmother, Katie Prudent, basing herself in Borken, Germany under the wing of Olympic medalist Marcus Ehning. Considered by many as one of the best riders in the world, this new collaboration has brought Reed countless victories both in and out of Europe.
22 year old Morgan Barbançon Mestre was part of the Spanish dressage team that competed at the London Olympics, being the youngest dressage rider at the event. She competed with her star horse Painted Black. The Spanish team ended on a 7th place in the team competition, whilst Morgan achieved great results individually.
21 year old Reed Kessler competed for the USA showjumping team at the same event, also being the youngest rider in history to compete at an Olympic level. USA took a strong 6th place and Reed also ended up with a great individual placement riding Cylana.

Morgan on the other hand is located with her horses at Stable Korenbloem in Weert, The Netherlands. Formerly training for Olympic medalist Anky Van Grunsven , she now collaborates with Danish Olympian Andreas Helgstrand and does the most of her training via a professional web cam system. She too, like her showjumping partner in crime, has achieved great results this year and was recently honoured an award for best Spanish dressage rider at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
Curiously, dressage and showjumping have always been a rather well-known equestrian taboo. These two worlds rarely mix as the difference between them is basically that of a ballet dancer and a hurdler. Despite the duality
of their equestrian disciplines and an extremely hectic schedule the girls still put off some time to see each other and amongst many other things, talk about their shared passion for horses. So to say a perfect example of how doing what you love should not affect the relationships with your loved ones; there is always a time and a place.
This time the busy duet encountered in Geneva, Switzerland for our photo-shoot. A fantastic opportunity to meet up as Reed was competing and Morgan was able to take a day off to fly over from The Netherlands. The girls spent a great day together in downtown Geneva for some catching up, shopping and lots of fun presenting the Kingsland 2015 Summer Collection.
