Hon. Alvin J. UyMayorMunicipality of Baclayon
Dear Hon. Uy,
Greetings! Of peace and prosperity!
Desperate times require nothing less than heroic acts. These desperate times are also the most hopeful of times as a new breed of ordinary people rise to the occasion and commit extraordinary selfless acts in order to rebuild our country from disaster and calamities.
As a response, The Provincial Government of Bohol, in partnership with PilipinasNatinof the Presidential Communications Operations Office and GawadKalinga, is sounding a call to the Boholanos for all sectors of society to rebuild lives and communities through a massive summer volunteerism program called the BAYANI CHALLENGE.
For the past 6 weeks since we launched Bayani Challenge here in Bohol, we have received tremendous response to the call for heroism and Bayanihan. From the originally planned 9 towns, we are now about to finish all 47 towns and 1 city, mobilizing more than 500,000 volunteers and counting!
On June 12, 2014, in time with the celebration of the 116th Philippine Independence Day, Bohol, alongside with other 11 calamity-stricken provinces will conclude the Bayani Challenge. On that day (as agreed during the recent Mayors Meeting at South Palms Resort), there will be a staging of probably the longest prayer chain ever in the country. This will send a loud message nationwide that the Bol-anons are praying for the country and that despite the tragedy that shook our province, we are standing strong because we have unshakeable faith in God and in each other, faithful to our motto, WALANG IWANAN!
In line with this, we would like to invite you and your people to join us in this historic and inspiring event in the province of Bohol. Attached with this letter are the guidelines and schedule of activities for the said event. Note that the local faith communities led by the different church leaders are likewise mobilizing their faithful members for this event.
Thank you for your support in forming heroes among our fellow Bol-anons. For any details or inquiries, you may contact our Bayani Challenge 2014 Bohol Team through: GO-SEEM Telephone No. 510-2906 and look for Francis Clark Sarmiento or Mr. Ramil Rodela at Mobile No. 09107929208 or Ms. Glaiza Nopalla at Mobile No. 09286089464.

Hon. Allen Ray Z. PiezasMayorMunicipality of Clarin
Dear Hon. Piezas,

Hon. Regina C. SalazarMayorMunicipality of Lila
Dear Hon. Salazar,
Let us make Nation Building a part of every Filipinos lifestyle.
