The ULTRA series dryers are a culmination of over 35 year experience in designing and manufacturing com-pressed air dryers. The heavy duty industrial design is compact, energy efficient and feature the proven pis-ton and scroll refrigeration compressors, ADX alumi-num block heat exchangers, over sized condensers all housed in a sheet metal cabinet with a corrosion proof powder coat finish. All ULTRA series dryers feature the

proprietary ADX, aluminum block heat exchanger that will deliver clean dry air to your plants air system at very low pressure drops which saves thousands of $$ in energy costs over the lifetime of the dryer. The built in stainless steel mesh separator is 98% efficient and assures low consistent dew points from 0 to 100% rated flow conditions.

ULTRA SERIES FEATURESULTRA series dryers operate on a 5 step drying process. Step 1 Pre-cooling: hot saturated compressed air enters the pre-cooler section of the ADX heat exchanger module and flows through channels where it is pre-cooled by out going cold air. The incoming air temperature is reduced approximately 30F. Step 2 Condensation: The precooled air then enters the evaporator where it is cooled to its final dew point. Step 3 Separation: The mixture of cold air and condensation flows into the separation chamber where is scrubbed by a stainless steel mesh and the liquid moisture is separated from the air stream. Step 4 Drain: After the moisture is separated from the air stream it gathers in a quiet zone and is drained away by the automatic drain valve. Step 5 Reheating: After the air exits the separator and the moisture is drained away the air stream enters the re-heater where it flows through channels where it is reheated by the incoming hot air. The outgoing air reheated by the hot incoming air and then exits the ADX heat exchanger module and the dryer.
