Keerang use a lot of red, orange and black; mainly dark colours. This gives it a more rough look which emphasize that it is rock themed

They’ve made the band name big and shiny so it stands out, you don’t have to look for the band’s name. They are in the main focus. They also use a line over their O`s to make it look more “modern” and “fancy”. This also shows that it’s not really made for people who doesn’t have English as their first language, as the line over the O look like a Scandinavian letter. Scandinavian's would read it like “saung” and “pilauts”

The way they use their language shows that this is mainly aimed at young people. The don’t use any complicated words

Since this is based on a certain genre of music, it expects you to already have further knowledge on the genre and bands that are featured in the magazine

By giving away free stuff in the magazine, the buyer feels like they are gaining something out of buying the magazine. And by putting 5SOS on the front cover it becomes more appealing to the younger audience, especially girls.

The main titles are highlighted with yellow to emphasize the content of the magazine. It makes it easy to get an overview, and you can find what you are looking for in a matter of seconds

They`ve put certain props like skulls and police tape on the content page to make it look more edgy. It follows their rock theme, and make it look “dangerous”

The demon statue and the man in the front both have a tough expression. It emphasize “manliness” and contributes to the overall rough/edgy look of the magazine.

The editor letter makes the magazine more personal and the readers feel more “loved”

The layout continues the black, red and yellow that is shown on the front page. The colours are all quite strong and they make the content page stand out

The main image is of a group of people. They’ve used a long shot so everyone will fit in the photo. They’ve placed on of the guys in the front to show that he’s the leader/main person in this group.

This menu shows more of the content in the magazine. By putting a list of the content on the front page, it might catch peoples interest and makes them want to buy it

They’ve made the name of the artist and the group bigger then the rest of the words to make It more visible. The artist and group might draw people to buy the magazine.

The layout is quite simple and plain. They’ve stuck to using few colours that doesn’t really stick out too much. This gives it a professional look that appeals to a more mature audience.

This is a list of the different bands in the magazine. With putting the list there, people might recognize some of the bands and would want to look more into the magazine.

The content page is quite plain and simple, which indicates that it`s made for a more mature audience.

The titles are highlighted in black while the subtitles are highlighted in black. It gives you a pretty good overview of the content. The whole page is quite organized and simple, which makes it easier to find whatever you are looking for.

The use of language is quite “grown up”. They write quite formal even when writing about posters. This indicates that this was made for an older and more mature audience.

By writing the page number in big letters, you can find the page you’re looking for right away and you won’t have to search through the whole magazine to find it.

They’ve stuck to using as few colours as possible, it gives it a more professional look.

This magazine cover shows that the content will be informative and you don`t really need any knowledge on the theme to read about it and still understand it.

It has a big headline that immediately catches your attention, and you can easily figure out what the content is all about.

They’ve put a plug promising free stuff. So if the cover doesn’t draw you in, the free stuff do.

By putting all the different albums on the cover, it might create a feeling of nostalgia with people. It also creates a colour contrast.

Since the magazine is quite expensive, they`ve made the price really small so people won’t see It. If people could easily see that it costs 4.99 it would appear less appealing to people that wants to buy it.

By using “big words” like ultimate, they make the content seem more “amazing” and they make themselves seem more important

They’ve made the text box big and red so it stands out from the rest of the content. It’s placed in the middle so it will be the centre of attention, and the rest of the content will be based on this big box

They’ve written the number of the pages so the articles will be quick and easy to find

The Layout and colours is quite all over the place. They’ve used the colour red to highlight the main content like the text box and the artists.

Here the audience is given an Overview of the rest of the content.By placing the most interesting articlesIn the front, it’s more likely that someone Would like to read more of the magazine

The review of certain artist might draw som people in. If they have one or more artist they like, they would like to know what kind of reviews they got.
