COMMUNICATION Communication is a process whereby
information is enclosed in a package and ischanneled and imparted by a sender to areceiver via some medium.
The receiver then decodes the message and
gives the sender a feedback.

All forms of communication require a sender, amessage, and an intended recipient
Communication requires that all parties have anarea of communicative commonality. T
here are auditory means, such as speech, song,
and tone of voice, and there are nonverbalmeans, such as body language, sign language,paralanguage, touch, eye contact, through media,i.e., pictures, graphics and sound, and writing.

The importance of communication in an organizationcan be summarized as follows:
Communication promotes motivation by informing and
clarifying the employees about the task to be done, themanner they are performing the task, and how to improvetheir performance if it is not up to the mark.
Communication is a source of information to theorganizational members for decision-making process as it
helps identifying and assessing alternative course of actions.
Communication also plays a crucial role in alteringindividuals attitudes, i.e., a well informed individual willhave better attitude than a less-informed individual.
