M seleni Hospital partnered with Umhlabuyalingana Local Municipality to celebrate the remarkable
Mandela Day on 18th July 2013. Among other stakeholders who took part in the gathering were traditional leaders, other government departments and community members. A vulnerable Khoza family of Manaba area was identified through Sukuma Sakhe profiling process as one of the most needy homesteads in the com-munity; and Umhlabuyalingana Local Municipality donated with building material to rescue that family, as their current house was not in a socially acceptable condition. Mseleni Hospital intervened with health solutions for the family. Clement Mthembu (Medical Officer) urged the community to take health issues seriously and make a Mandela everyday.
