or Waldorf Astoria brands online. - Don’t comment negatively on our
competitors posts. You are a recognized representative of our hotel.
- Don’t tag the hotel in your personal postings online
- Don’t review the hotel while an employee.
- Don’t take photos of guests
- Don’t discuss guests in house with other employees or outside the hotel
What is Public Relations?
• Media/ Press • The goal of my position is to
generate positive media coverage for the hotel
• This includes national, local and online media (bloggers)
• Through media, WAPC maintains a positive brand image.
• Story Telling • I am responsible for pitching unique
experiences and the hotel overall. This includes • Packages/ Specials • Hotel amenities • Powder restaurant • Our Spa • Brand goals (Waldorf & Hilton)
Press/Media/ VIP – Privacy Policy
Do - Greet the VIP in a professional,
friendly matter (like you would with any of our valued guests!)
- Do use the VIP’s name on the portfolio (regardless of if that is their real name)
- Do give the same, great, True Waldorf Service!
Don’t - Don’t discuss in-house guests with other
employees or anyone outside the hotel
- Don’t take any photos, videos of guests
- Don’t discuss any hotel procedures/policies regarding VIP guests
- Don’t allow any filming at the hotel - DO CALL DANIELLE
