WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE
They have long ears.
They are usually brownish.
Since the rabbits have fur they are mammals.
WHERE DO THEY LIVE
Marsh rabbits live in any continent except Antarctica.
Their favorite places to live are grass lands, woods, forests, mountains, and deserts.
But they can survive in all sorts of places.
WHAT DO THEY EAT?
They are strict vegetarians.
Their favorite food is grass buds and twigs.
They also like tree bark and lichen.
PREDATORS!!!!!
They have many predators.
Some of them are bobcats, owls, and foxes.
And some times human hunt them for their fur and meat.
INTERESTING FACTS
There are about 62 species of rabbits in the world.
They are widely distributed except on the islands of southeast Asia and Antarctica.
Now they are common in Australia.
ADAPTIONS
If an animal or human walks by the rabbit thinks it is a threat and leaps away quickly.
