secretary.
7. I can hear ____________________________.
8. ‘When are we _________________________ to the

Spelling – answer sheet
Read these sentences aloud to your child (twice
each) whilst they complete the spelling test so they
know which words are missing. Remind them of the
spelling pattern they’ve been learning all week to help
them.
1. I ran to the copier and copied the worksheets
that I needed for the lesson.
2. I am at my happiest when I am in bed!
3. Could you be happier?
4. The man replied to the lady.
5. I was so happy that I could have cried.
6. ‘Are you copying that?’ asked the secretary.
7. I can hear crying.
8. ‘When are we replying to the letter?’ asked
my husband.
