ABC News Mobile App Redesign
This project initially began as a high level pitch to ABC News
Product Director. The idea was to get ABC news to start using the
Wrap Platform, Wrap.co is the company I worked for when I
designed this piece.
No wireframes were produced, I worked with my creative director to
study and analyse ABC News´s mobile application, see what worked
and what didn’t´t and decided to come up with a redesigned
proposal to demonstrate at a demo that took place in the client´s
oces in San Francisco.
I was involved as the only designer in this project and produced a
fairly large amount of screens over a period of three weeks, there
were various iterations in the process, we used InVision to create a
fully interactive prototype. Feedback was received over InVision as
well, really made the whole process much more easy.
The mobile app ABC uses is really lacking in terms of speed, design
and user experience , I draw most of my inspiration from other news
sites such as CNN and USA Today. The final look and feel follows
strict brand guidelines the the client provided, i also used their site
(http://abcnews.go.com) as design reference.
Virgin America FlightCheck App
Virgin America was looking for a new app that
would enable passengers to easily check-in to
their flights, pick seating, in-flight entertainment
and car rental all in one place.
This prototype was produced as a proof of con-
cept. During the discovery phase we met with
Virgin America to discuss requirements, scope
and budget, essentially find out exactly what
they were looking for. In terms of visual design,
they wanted something fresh, easy to use and
extremely fast flow and user engagement.
I worked on the wireframes first, validating them
with Virgin´s product design team, after wire-
frames were approved I moved full throttle with
the final design and iterated using InVision.
The final product and the wireframes can be
seen here.
Red Bull Crashed Ice 2016 Recap
Red Bull was looking for a new app for it´s
Crashed Ice competition. I designed this proto-
type which is largely based on what their cur-
rently had on their ocial website http://ww-
w.redbullcrashedice.com. Many of the elements
and design guidelines were taken from that site
on client´s request. This was a pretty challeng-
ing project, the site contained a lot of informa-
tion, charts, athlete bios and other elements
that needed to be converted for mobile
screens.
After discovery and meetings I started working
on wireframes for a period of approximately 2
weeks, validated with client and moved to final
design. Red Bull was very pleased with the
design and decided to move forward with de-
velopment of the app. I worked very closely
with their development team and made adjust-
ments to the designs based on their feedback.
Wireframes and the full app can be seen here.
2016 Toyota Corolla Mobile Brochure
Toyota approached me to design a mobile brochure for the new 2016
Corolla in the US Market. They provided me with a very rough wire-
frame explaining what and how they wanted the design to be. High
resolution pictures and brand guidelines were also provided. Design
and iteration for this piece took over 3 weeks of fulltime work, I was
also in charge of building it using the Wrap Platform (www.wrap.co)
which is a mobile engagement tool.
2016 Toyota Corolla Mobile Brochure
NYSE The Receivables Exchange approached me for their website redesign eort. They were looking for a
complete revamp including improved user experience, navigation and a more modern look and feel and re-
sponsive design.
I was given complete creative freedom as they were looking to dierentiate and stand our from their competi-
tion with a killer website. I drew wireframes and built a complete interactive prototype with them. After the wires
were approved I moved to design each screen, I got most of my images from shutterstock, client was very
happy with the final result. The Website URL is www.recx.com
