Millions of people are having fun learning the discipline of Ta e k w o n d o . Ta e k w o n d o ’s emphasis on kicking techniques that gives students a great aerobic workout as well as improving their balance and coordination. These skills are great for kids and adults. Participants will also take part of self-evaluation which is an important part of taekwondo, resulting in the realization of the
student’s physical and more, importantly, their mental strengths and weaknesses. These, along with increased self-discipline, will help students increase their level of confidence, which will be evident in their life outside of taekwondo.

The Artist’s WayDiscover and Recover Your Creative Self
This course is for anyone interested in living more creatively through practicing an art; even more broadly, anyone interested in practicing the art of creative living! For over a decade Julia Cameron has taught workshops on how to let people be creative! Through these workshops and this book, The Artist’s Way, Julia Cameron has touched over a million lives while using, teaching and sharing tools that she has created in order to discover and recover your creative self!
The primary purpose and effect of The Artist's Way is to put people in touch with the power of their own internal creativity. This book frees people to be more creative in many different ways: First, it helps dismantle negative mythologies about artists. Second, it helps people discover their own creative force, access it, and express it more freely. Third, it provides people with an awareness about their self-destructive behaviors and allows them to see more clearly what the impediments on their individual path might be. Finally, the book helps people identify and celebrate their desires and dreams and make the plans to accomplish them. It teaches people how to support and nurture themselves as well as how to find others who will support them in fulfilling their dreams.
This course will be facilitated by Amy Israel. Amy has experience with The Artist’s Way course as well as other workshops on self discovery! The price of the class includes The Artist’s Way book. For more information or questions, please contact Amy at 761-0810, ext. 108.

The Last Jewish TownIn the hills of the Caucasus in north Azerbaijan there is a small town named Kresnia Skloboda, a Jewish town that serves as a municipality. Managed according to the Halachah (Jewish law) and Jewish tradition, it is the last and only town of its kind outside of Israel.
The “mountain Jews” as they were called by the people of the area, were perse-cuted for thousands of years for refusing to convert.
Today about 6,000 Jews live in Kubah (Kresnia Sloboda). The residents maintain orthodox religious life according to Sephardi tradition. These “mountain Jews” continue to hold on to their unique, thousands years old, way of life.

A Double Feature That Will Make Women Laugh, Men Cry and Everybody Think
The true story of Yisrael Campbell, your average Irish, Italian, Catholic kid from Philly, who became a sober alcoholic,
recovering drug addict, husband, father, reform, conservative, unorthodox,
orthodox, Jewish comic actor. Yisrael (born Christopher) takes the audience on an extraordinary spiritual, creative, and hysterically funny journey including, ouch, three circumcisions along the way. Circumcise Me is a rare collision of comedy and theatre that will have women howling with laughter and men squirming in their seats.
