1.15 TDM software download
The software of each OpenStage T terminal can be updated via the UP0/E interface.
The software for each model is stored in the respective system. The current OpenStage soft-ware is made available by the official software sales channels (SEBA/SWS server).
The software download is initiated and controlled by system management.
TDM OpenStage terminals and the Up0 extender can be loaded with new software via theTDM software download. The download is started by OpenScape Business X Manager E. First, the application transfers the terminal software onto one OpenStage TDM terminal via the Dchannel.
This terminal then establishes a B-channel connection to another OpenStage TDM terminalsvia the virtual S0 adapter and transfers the terminal software on the B channel. These two ter-
minals build B-channel connections to further OpenStage TDM terminals, so that a "snowballsystem" transfers the terminal software to all TDM OpenStage terminals.
