Key Findings Moms are split on many issues but agree on one important thing monitoring their child’s online activity(75%). According to Moms, 59% of their kids have a television in their room, and 45% have a laptop in their room. They also reported that 57% of their kids use social media.

Moms are proactive about protecting their children online as 78% stated they talk to their kids at least once a month. Some Moms are talking to their kids about online safety weekly(34%) and others daily(20%). They usually start talking to kids between ages six and nine(41%), but some(27%) start before age six.

Moms see predators (54%) as the biggest risks to their kids online even more so than inappropriate content(33%) and cyber-bullies (13%). Nevertheless, 69% of Moms feel that they can protect their kids online.
