When I’m not at school: I love spending time with my

daughters, gaming, reading and cooking!

Favourite book/author: WHAT? How can I pick one book?

One of my favourite Authors is Cornelia Funke, but I also love Tolkien, Ste-

phen King, Shakespeare…the list is long!

Favourite sports team: Dallas Cowboys! (Texas Football Rules!)

Something that always cheers me up: Great music played really loud!

Favourite holiday destination: Anywhere there is an ocean and a book to

read!

Favourite style of music: Rock/Heavy Metal

Favourite song: One Man Army by Sleeping with Sirens. Great sound,

and my personal philosophy in a song! “Miss all the chances you don’t

take!”

Hobbies: Well reading, obviously. Lots of ‘arty’ past times like painting

and sketching. Little known fact about me is that I am currently playing

Dungeons and Dragons in a family campaign that is run by my eldest

daughter.

Why I am passionate about working at GPS: I knew I wanted to be a

teacher when I was thirteen. I have had other jobs over my 50 plus years,

but I always return to teaching what an incredible job! I love helping our

students develop a growth mindset. Spending each day with our Gem-

brook kids is amazing –really my favourite place to be, my morning smiles

are better than coffee! Our team of teachers are so dedicated, but boy we

have a lot of fun too!
