Homework walk through Team Captain Homework Assignment #3
Complete before next meeting May 18th Register entire team- In case
you have added new team members make sure they register as soon as
possible. The commitment fee is $10 and can be paid online or by
check/cash. Make a deposit to SAC- Remember to put your team
number, team name, name and type of deposit, luminary, commitment
fees or general donation on the envelope along with dollar amount,
when you make a deposit at the bank. You can make deposits at the
Bellevue Branch- 2204 Longo Dr., the Papillion Branch 84 th &
Giles, or the Shadow Lake Branch Hwy 370 & 73 rd. Sign up for a
team photo time slot- Team photos are taken at Relay to remember
the event. Sign up now for the best time slot. Contact Jackie Desch
at [email protected] to get your slot and/or more information.
[email protected] Relay Idol- Explain the concept to your team
members and follow the instructions on the flyer. Remember your
contestant for Relay Idol MUST be a registered team member. You do
not have to have a contestant- but ask! You never know who on your
team has a hidden talent. Communicate with your team- email team
member reminders, make phone calls or have a meeting to let team
member know what is going on and what you need from them. The Relay
ball is really rolling now and a lot of important information is
going to be given to you. Pass that info along to your team. Issue
a team challenge- Challenge your individual team members to raise a
certain amount or who can raise the most in a specific time frame.
Recognize and reward those who step up to your challenge. Relay
Mall- Decide if your team will have a booth at our Relay Mall. This
is a great opportunity for your team to make some money for your
fundraising goal. Follow directions on the On Site Fundraising
flyer if you would like to participate. Email names for Luminary
sales- remember only email the names only for in honor of or in
memory of- distinguish between the two- send emails to:

use a size 14 or larger font.

contestant- Explain Ms Relay and approach your team for a
contestant. Your Ms. Relay contestant does not have to be a team
member. Follow the specific instruction on the Ms. Relay flyer and
always remember this is a family friendly event. You do not have to
have a contestant entered, but it is a lot of fun and it raises a
lot of money for your team. Mark your calendar for Bank Night- Mark
your calendar for Tuesday, June 1 st at the Papillion Branch SAC
bank south of 84 th & Giles by Applebees from 5:30 to 7:00p.m.
now! This is a very important pre-Relay event. You will pick up
team T-Shirts, deposit any money collected, collect spirit points,
and get last minute details. Dont miss it!

Questions Relay Mall-cannot use the word raffle. Make it a game
of skill. Turning in moneyPlease use the envelopes provided to turn
in the money. Please make sure packet number, team name, team
captain name, amount of money in envelope and reason for money
(luminary, general donation or commitment) are on the envelope.
There are lines for these and all you need to do is fill these
lines in. Money the night of Relay if you want it to count towards
your fundraising club needs to be turned in by 10pm. If after that,
you will need to turn it in at the bank after the Relay event. It
will still go towards your team, but will not count towards your
fundraising club amount. Please remind your team members of
this.
