STEPS FOR APPLYING, ENROLLING AND PAYING FOR HCC DUAL CREDIT CLASSES
Before any student can enroll in Dual Credit classes, the student MUST apply and register with HCC
To go to the Houston Community College home page enter http//www.hccs.edu In your browser.
Click on “Admissions” Click on “Apply and Register”
NEW STUDENTS
Under “Step 1: Complete applications, click on “Submit an online application”
RETURNING STUDENTS
GO directly to the top of the Website and click on “ Student Sign-‐Ins”
ALL STUDENTS
(Note: NEW students do this step AFTER they have applied to HCC and received their HCC ID number)
Click on “PeopleSoft/Student Account sign-‐in”.
4. You should now be at the Welcome to Houston Community College Student System Sign In page.
Ø Enter your User ID and Password; click Sign In. ü If you have never created a password, click “First Time User” and follow the directions. ü If you have forgotten your User ID, click “Retrieve User ID” and follow the directions. ü If you have forgotten your Password, click “Reset Password” and follow the directions.
( IMPORTANT: You may see a message indicating that your browser is not compatible with this website. For best results, the recommended browser is Firefox. You can continue to use your browser, however many of the newer features might not work as expected. For IE10, compatibility must be turned on. If you continue having problems, please contact HCC IT Department at 713-‐718-‐8800.)
5. Once you are on your Student Account Page, click ‘continue’.
ENROLLING IN DUAL CREDIT CLASSES
6. Under the section titled “Academics”:
Click on the “Enroll” tab
Under “Add to Cart: Enter Class Nbr”, enter the 5 digit course (CRN) number provided to you by your school;
Click “enter”.
7. Review this page. Confirm the listed course.
Click “NEXT”

8. You will receive a green confirmation that the class you selected has been added to you shopping cart.
Click on “Proceed to Step 2 of 3”.
9. Confirm your class again. If the information is correct, click “ENROLL”. 10. A “Confirm Classes” page will appear. Again, review the classes you have enrolled in. If everything is correct click “CONTINUE”. 11. A “Student Intended Payment Type” menu will appear. You will be given a choice in payment option. CHECK ONLY THE LAST BOX [OTHER (VOUCHERS/WAIVERS)] If you check any other box you will have to pay the FULL AMOUNT of the course. Click “Finish Enrolling”

WHOOPS! I SIGNED UP FOR THE WRONG CLASS, WHAT DO I DO? If you sign up for the wrong class, click on “Swap Classes” at the bottom. Next to the wrong class, put in the correct CRN for the class you want to take. Then click “Submit”. The option to swap classes is very short, usually up to 2 days after classes begin. See the online schedule for the exact semester dates.
PAYMENT NOTICE:
• THE DUAL CREDIT OFFICE DOES NOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS. • YOU MUST OBTAIN YOUR TUITION WAIVER FROM YOUR HIGH SCHOOL. • AFTER ENROLLMENT, YOU MUST BRING YOUR TUITION WAIVER TO THE HCC CAMPUS CASHIER. • BE SURE TO OBTAIN A RECEIPT.
