is just as ubiquitous as
its accompanying coffee
machines or water cool-
ers, there are few situa-
tions that spark as much
of it as those involving
change. When an
organi zation is in the
midst of transformation,
gossip runs rampant and
can become a significant factor with regard to
the success (or lack thereof) of the project. How-
ever, most of us would have a hard time definingspecifically what might constitute gossip –
