WHAT WE’RE SEEING
BERKLEY CENTER AND FOUNDER.ORG
The Berkley Center has teamed with Founder.org to provide $100K in funding and mentoring for NYU startups led by students, faculty, recent grads (post January 2013) and alumni currently participating in programs run by the Center.
To apply, you need only submit a short deck describing your concept. On 4/3, there will be a Presentation Day at which applicants can informally pitch their ideas to Founder.org. Please note that there are limited slots for this day. So, if you're interested you'll need to act quickly.
If you miss next week's deadline, no worries. You will have until April 15 to submit materials for consideration. You'll find all details at Founder.org. I've also attached a flyer that you can pass along to your colleagues and students.

The Award is focused on discovering ideas that deliver the best new solutions in four core areas: education, healthcare, sustainability, and transportation, a new category for 2014. Submissions will be accepted starting, April 3, 2014, through June 30, 2014 at www.powerfulanswersaward.com.
