Augment web pages with semantically structured annotations
Create simple text comments with “semantic tags“ (concepts from the Linked Data Cloud)
Or more advanced annotation graphs(this fragment -> agrees_with -> this other fragment)(this fragment -> has_author -> dbpedia/resource/shakespeare )
You can use your own vocabularies!

Bob wants to tell a story that correlates the declaration of eu political leaders with theprice of governement bond in financial markets. Bob may want to either show that the declarations of eu leaders have an effect on the price of bonds or the other way around, that iswhat politicians say is influenced by the price of government bonds.
To do so, Bob needs to annotate the declarations from international newspaper while keeping track of when the declaration was made, by whom, in which language is translated and most importantly when it was said.
Bob surfs newspaper websites, selects the quotation he wants to track, adds its author (eu leader), the date, the source (which newspaper?), the language of the text he's annotating.Once he's done, bob goes to another web site, to publish the data he collected (notebook).
In the publishing web site, bob can select one of the existing notebooks, he can choose one.The application plots a timeline. On top of the timeline, the app shows a graph of the current government bond price (average eu index of some sort or even multiple countries).On the bottom, the declaration of politicians are shown as dots. Each dot is a declaration. The colour represents the politician. When the user clicks on the dot, a bubble shows the text of the quotation and its source (newspaper).
[Optional]: The apps allows the user to filter by 1) Source 2) Language of the quotation
