Legislation on Appointments by the
Ombudsman
• Act No. 24 of 2007 Section 14 provides for the Ombudsman to appoint such officers as deemed necessary to assist him/her in the execution of the functions of the Office.
• He/She may coop technical/professional services as required for the discharge of his/her duties.

Required Qualification
• Bachelors degree in Social Science,
• Five (5) years or more in a Counseling /HR Management or Customer Care capacity,
• Experience/Knowledge in counseling.

Position Holder’s Qualification
• Bachelors Degree in Theology,
• Masters Degree in Social Work,
• 21 years senior managerial experience,

• High level of maturity.
Investigations Officer
Required Qualification
• Bachelors degree in Social Science
• Five (5) years or more in a Senior /managerial capacity
• Experience/Knowledge in negotiations procedures

Position Holder’s Qualification
• Bachelors degree in Informatics Eng.,
• Pursuing Masters Degree in Crime Science, Investigations & Intelligence

Executive Secretary
Required Qualification
• 5 CXC/GCE passes including English Language,
• Short Hand/Speed Writing Skills of least 90 wpm,
• Computer Literacy i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel & QuickBooks
Personal Qualities: Excellent written & oral comm. Skills,
Confidential, team player.
Position Holder’s Qualification
• 7 CXC/GCE passes including English Language & Math,
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Power point & QuickBooks,
• Shorthand certificate.

Office Assistant
