The first OMPS NMEVmeasurements used to create the NMEV-L1B product were taken onJanuary 28, 2012. Data for February-March 2012 have numerous gaps due to variations ininstrument. Regular operationsbeganonApril 2, 2012. Note that theOMPSNadirMapperconductedhigh-resolutionmeasurementsapproximatelyonedayperweekfromApril2012toJune2016.
