Mango, Grapes & Pomegranates
1th November, 2008, APEDA launched on its website the new version
of its scheme for Recognition of Horticulture Pack houses. The scheme
focuses on better hygienic and infrastructure operations in the pack
houses as also on quality management and record keeping by the units.
In the new scheme, a modified system of orchard registration through

APEDA has furthered its steps to design, develop
and implement similar traceability systems for
Pomegranate, Groundnuts and Organic
Products.
Similar traceability systems shall also be
developed for walnuts, rice, maize after the
development and successful trials of traceability
systems for the above mentioned products..
