1918 Jan 13 The Church is essentially outlawed in Russia.

1918 Jun 14 The first concentration camps are born under Lenin and Trotsky.

1918 Aug 9 Lenin launches an implacable mass terror against his „enemies.‟

1925 Dec 10 The Blessed Virgin, with her Son, appears to Sr. Lucia (at Pontevedra) and requests the devotion of the First Five Saturdays (Socci, 178) (Heaven continues to insist upon it on Dec 29, Feb 15, and May 29)

Jesus and Mary through Sr. Lucia. He does nothing.

1930 Oct 13 Bishop Jose Correia of Leiria approves of the Fatima apparitions.

1931 May 13 The Portuguese Bishops consecrate Portugal to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

(300,000 faithful attend). Tangible miracles result: (1) Catholic Renaissance,

1935 Jan 21 Sr. Lucia insists that the request of Heaven must be heeded.

being spared from Communism and & the Spanish Revolution. Sr. Lucy relays

that Our Lady promises to save Portugal from the ravages of World War II.

1939 Feb 6 Sr. Lucia writes to her Bishop that war is imminent; but Our Lady will protect Portugal because the Portuguese Bishops consecrated their country to her.

1939 Feb 10 Pope Pius XI dies without consecrating Russia as requested.

1939 Mar 2 Eugenio Pacelli is elected Pope Pius XII; he was known as the „Fatima Pope‟

(his episcopal consecration was on May 13, 1917).

1939 March Jesus appears again to Sr. Lucia requesting the Consecration. (Socci, 185)

1939 June 20 Sr. Lucia asserts that the scourge can still be delayed, yet she knows of the ecclesial inactivity and foresees that the most horrible war is about to begin

1939 Aug 22 Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact by Nazis and Soviets to partition Poland

1940 April Sr. Lucia writes that God is afflicted because of our great sins and our great laziness in obeying Him. She writes to Pope Pius XII. (Socci, 186)

1941 Aug 31 Third Memoir of Sr. Lucia in which she writes the first two parts of the Secret.

1941 Dec 8 Fourth Memoir of Sr. Lucia where she adds the start/end of the Third Secret.

1942 Oct 31 Pius XII Consecrates the World to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (Jesus had assured Sr. Lucia in Sep/Oct 1940 that this would take place and some grace would be given as proof; but as it would not be the requested consecration, not the full grace promised.)

1942 Nov 3 Second Battle of El Alamein: Allied victory after ten terrible days of conflict which marks a turning point in WW2. Allies gain control of the Suez Canal and Middle East oil fields.

1942 Nov 8 Operation Torch begins: British and US forces land in French North Africa and begin to drive back the Nazis.

1943 Feb 2 Victory at Stalingrad. Nazi army surrenders after six months (Aug 23,1942) and Churchill delivers the famous speech: “The wheel of destiny has turned.”

1944 April Part One and Part Two of the Fatima Secret are made public.

1945 Aug World War II ends (May 8 / Aug 15). However, there is no real peace. It will be followed by the Soviets occupying and repressing Eastern Europe, the decimation of half of Christian Europe, the Communist conquest of China, the Korean War, the Cuban Revolution, the Vietnam War, and the list goes on…

1946 Jul 15 Sr. Lucia is interviewed by William Walsh and clarifies that Russia must be consecrated by the Pope and all the bishops on one day. (Socci, p 189)

1947 Apr 12 Apparition of the Madonna at the Three Fountains (in Rome) to St. Bruno

Cornacchiola. (Listen to Audio Sancto sermon dated 2003-01-09)

1950 Nov 1 Pope Pius XII declares the Dogma of the Assumption of Mary. He had additional extraordinary signs from heaven: (1) A miracle of the Sun which he witnessed,

(2) The anniversary of the consecration he made, and (3) The Fatima Madonna Statue arrives in

Rome after a long pilgrimage all over the world. (Socci, 189-90)

1952 Jul 7 Pope Pius XII publishes Sacro Vergente Anno and Consecrates Russia (by name)

to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (but not as she requested: no solemn ceremony

with all the world‟s bishops united to him). (Socci, 191)

1952 Oct 14 Stalin gave a speech dedicated to the ideological motivation for an imminent offensive against Western Europe. In his lifetime, he wanted to see a Soviet transformation of all Europe. He was finalizing these preparations in Feb 1953 and suddenly died from a cerebral hemorrhage on March 5, 1953. (Socci, 191)

1952 Sep 2 Pius XII sends Fr. Schweigel to interrogate Sr. Lucia on the Third Secret.

1953 Aug 29 The Weeping Madonna of Syracuse (Italy). The statue showed her Immaculate

Heart; it wept for four days. This is the only weeping statue phenomena inexplicable

to science and declared supernatural by ecclesiastical authority (Socci, 192-3).

1955 May Cardinal Ottaviani meets with Sr. Lucia.

1957 Apr 16 The Secret goes to Rome to be kept secret because the Portuguese prelates had

announced their plan to publish it to the world in 1960. Pius XII refused to read the one

sheet of paper that contained the Secret; but from his emissaries (Fr. Schweigel in 1952

and Ottaviani), he had an inkling as to its nature. It seems he became more inflexible to

the Message of Fatima in the time following Sacro Vergente Anno.

1957 Dec 26 Fr. Augustin Fuentes, postulator of the cause for the beatification of Jacinta and Francisco, meets with Sr. Lucia. (Socci, 97-101)

1958 Oct 9 Pope Pius XII dies without consecrating Russia as requested.

1958 Oct 28 Angelo Roncalli is elected Pope John XXIII.

1959 Jan John XXIII imposes silence upon Sr. Lucia, prohibiting her to speak without

Vatican authorization. Interestingly, the reserved, submissive nun had made an unusual

initiative, she wanted to give a radio message to the world (not even 1960 yet). (Socci, 195)

1959 Jan 25 John XXIII announces the Second Vatican Council.

1959 Jul 2 Fr. Fuentes is censured and severely chastised by ecclesial authorities.

1959 Aug 17 John XXIII reads The Third Secret. He meets with Cardinal advisors (who also

read the Secret: Tardini, Samore, Dell‟Aqua, Ottaviani, Agagianian Sigismondi, and Msgr.

Capovilla) and declares that “This message is not for our times.” He states it may be a

message from Heaven and perhaps not. He was never very fond of Fatima.

1960 Feb 8 Anonymous report by the Vatican that the Third Secret „will never be opened‟

and it will not be made public. (Socci, 155)

1962 Oct 2 The Metz Pact, between Cardinal Tisserant and Metroplitan Nikodim, promises

the Vatican will not condemn Communism. (Socci, 198)

1962 Oct 11 Second Vatican Council begins. Pope John XXIII predicts a splendid springtime,

“To us it seems necessary to disagree with these prophets of doom who are forever

forecasting calamity, almost as if the world’s end were imminent.” (Socci, 197)

1963 Jun 3 Pope John XXIII dies without consecrating Russia as requested.

1963 Jun 21 Giovanni Montini is elected Pope Paul VI. He did make a pilgrimage to Fatima,

but never gave sufficient importance or credibility to Sr. Lucia and the Message

of Fatima, even refusing her requested audiences.

1963 Oct 3 Paul VI allegedly sends a “diplomatic version” of the Fatima Secret to Kennedy

and Khrushchev (reports Nueus Europa).

1967 May 13 Paul VI makes a pilgrimage to Fatima; his sermon references Apoc 12. (Socci, 83)

1968 Dec 7 Paul VI: “The Church finds herself in an hour of anxiety, a disturbed period of self-criticism , or what would even

be better called self-destruction. It is an interior upheaval, acute, and complicated, which nobody expected after the

Council. It is almost as if the Church were attacking itself. We looked forward to a flowering, a serene expansion of

conceptions which matured in the sessions of the Council. But one must notice above all the sorrowful aspect. It is

as if the Church were destroying herself."

1972 Jun 29 Paul VI: “From somewhere or other the smoke of Satan has entered the Temple of God. It was believed that after

the Council there would come a day of sunshine in the history of the Church. Instead there came a day of clouds,

tempests, of darkness.”

1977 Oct 13 Paul VI: "The tail of the devil is functioning in the disintegration of the Catholic world. The darkness of Satan has

entered and spread throughout the Catholic Church even to the summit. Apostasy , the loss of faith, is spreading

throughout the world and into the highest levels of the Church."

1973 Jul 6 Our Lady of Akita (Japan). Our Blessed Mother speaks to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa.

This apparition is approved by the Bishop on April 22, 1984. In June 1988, the

Vatican gives its approval as well (Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect of the CDF).

largely rehabilitates Fr. Fuentes. (Socci, 102)

1982 May 13 John Paul II Consecrates the World to the IHM (Fatima).

1983 Mar 19 Sr. Lucia states ‘the consecration has not been done’ to the Apostolic Nuncio.

1984 Mar 25 John Paul II Consecrates the World to the IHM (St. Peter‟s Basilica).

This time he invited the bishops to unite themselves to him.

1985 Very plausible speculation that World War III was averted (Socci, p. 206-9). 1983/84 Euro-missile crisis is reaching its height and Soviets plan an offensive. 1984 May 13 Soviet North Sea nuclear arsenal explodes due to a fire (Sveromorosk). 1985 The Kremlin puts aside the option of war because of the lost missiles.

1985 Sr. Lucia confirms that a catastrophic war was averted in 1985. 1987 Dec 8 Gorbachev signs am arms reduction treaty and eliminates Euro-missiles. 1989 The Iron Curtain begins to be lowered, bloodlessly and without violence. 1991 Dec 25 The red flag is lowered at the Kremlin. But don‟t be deceived, by no means is this an end to the errors and evil of Russia. The ‘Russian Chastisement’ is forthcoming!

1984 Nov 11 Ratzinger‟s interview in the Pauline monthly, Jesus. (Socci, 90)

1985 The Report on Faith is published (aka, the Ratzinger Report). (Socci, 93-4)

pre-interpretation. (Socci, 18)

2000 June 26 The Vatican publishes the “Third Secret”

2001 Nov 21 Cardinal Bertone meets again with Sr. Lucia to dispel rumors.

Nothing concerning this meeting is published until Dec 21, 2001 (¿?)

2005 Apr 2 Pope John Paul II dies without consecrating Russia as requested.

2005 Apr 19 Joseph Ratzinger is elected Pope Benedict XVI.

2005 Jul 5 Solideo Paolini, Catholic writer, interviews Bishop Loris Capovilla, personal

secretary to Pope John XXIII.

2006 Nov Antonio Socci‟s book, The Fourth Secret of Fatima, is released.

2007 May 10 Cardinal Bertone publishes a booklet attacking Socci. On May 31, he did a TV

show (Porta a Porta) and, six days later, a radio show on Vatican Radio. These

gave no real answers and were full of contradictions and inconsistencies. On Sept

21, 2007, he came on another television show and muddled the cover up further. http://www.salvemariaregina.info/SalveMariaRegina/SMR-157/Third%20Secret%20Part%20IV.htm
