REED school & donated space by Portland Public Schools
PFP Annual Auction – Live & Silent
Is a collaboration of 50 local artists, Portland art students and PFP members
2014 Auction will be held on November 13th at
Dimillo’s Resturant
Featuring a wide assortment of CLOCKS!
Proceeds are used to fund a youth grant process -Portland students can apply to fund projects that make a difference in their community.
“Research” the problem to gain an understanding and an appreciation of the issue
“Develop a plan” to address the problem
“Create a budget” for the project
Students in grades 4-12 are eligible for the grantsIn the past 4 years, we have given out 25 grants totaling over $13,000!!
2014-2015 Pilot Project: Deering High School
- $4000 for student led service learning grants
- Intro to coaching groups at each grade level
- Follow up workshops for those interested
