PakTurk Students’ Performance at 10th Intel NSEFOrganized by Intel Education Initiative, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Pakistan, 2014 Intel NSEF was the scene of competition among thousands of students. A total of 80 projects were found worthy of competing in the national finals a�er selection stage in regional rounds. 80 finalist projects were exhibited subsequent to having been meticulously inspected by an eminent jury.
Intel National Science Olympiad aims at encouraging secondary and higher secondary students to take initiative in finding solutions to the challenges faced locally and globally by means of scientific knowledge and inventive insight. A�er qualifying in district and provincial rounds, 20 out of 80 finalist projects were from PakTurk students.

The students of PakTurk International Schools & Colleges are competing with the world for Pakistan, so participating in international competitions is a tradition at PakTurk. Carrying this tradition forward a student of PakTurk Karachi Cli�on Boys Campus bagged gli�ering success in Biology at the 8th International Environmental Project Olympiad (INEPO-EUROASIA) held at Baku, Azerbaijan, 4 to 6 April 2014. Muhammed Noman won the Silver Medal among 120 Projects from 51 Countries. The INEPO Euroasia encourages students from around the world to develop projects that can solve environmental issues.
The winning project title was “Henna as a natural pesticide”. This success is yet another feather in the cap for PakTurk family.

Living Rainforest organizes a “Global Essay Competition’ which invites school children to outline their ideas on different issues. This year’s theme was ‘sustainable living’ and the steps needed for societies to achieve them”.
This year saw a record level of participation, with registrations received from 73 Countries and 1094 Contestants entered in the competition.

PakTurk students won Gold Medal and Bronze Medal in 5th Genius Olympiad (Global Environmental Issues-USA) , 15-20 June 2014, held at State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego.

Students overall registered 842 projects in the Genius Olympiad whereas in the finals only 328 Projects from 57 countries and 36 states from USA were selected. 2 projects from PakTurk qualified for the finals.
A project from Abdur Rehman and Haseeb Ali Chohan, students of Lahore Boys Campus, won Gold Medal in Chemistry category. The project tiitle was “THE POWER OF SEWAGE” .
Second project in Biology category was from Abdul Rehman and Hasan Iqbal, students of Lahore Boys Campus. Title of the project was “REMEDIATION OF INDUSTRIAL EFFLUENTS THROUGH CONSTRUCTED WETLANDS OF T.ANGUSTIFOLIA. This project was awarded with Bronze Medal.
